Pebbly Beach campground is closed from Tuesday 21 June, and is due to reopen Friday 1 July 2022. The campground is closed so that repairs to the campground and the access creek crossing can be completed, following damage from severe weather.
Closed areas: Sandon Back track
Sandon Village Back track is currently closed due to flood inundation causing unsafe track conditions. The backtrack will remain closed until the water recedes.
Closed areas: Shelley Head campground closed due to landslip
Shelley Head campground is closed until further notice due to landslips on the Yuraygir Coastal Walk.

Closed areas: Yuraygir coastal walk partial closure due to landslips
Yuraygir coastal walk is closed until 23 September 2022 in the following areas due to landslips caused by flood damage:
- From Angourie to Lake Arragan
- From Wooli to Pebbly Beach

Safety alerts: Pebbly Beach and Station Creek campgrounds – 4WD vehicles only
Access to Station Creek and Pebbly Beach campgrounds is currently via Bacoongerie Road only. McPhillips Road is closed.
Pebbly Beach and Station Creek campgrounds are only accessible by high clearance 4WD vehicles. This includes water crossings which can change quickly depending on local rainfall and tidal conditions.
Access to Pebbly Beach and Station Creek campgrounds is dependent on Clarence Valley Council (CVC) and Forestry Corporation road infrastructure.

Safety alerts: Uneven surface proceed with care
Part of Wilsons Headland walking track is diverted due to surface scouring from recent severe weather events.
NPWS engaged geotechnical engineering advice and have diverted the walking track around the hazard.

Closed areas: Boorkoom campground closed
Boorkoom campground is closed for upgrades from 12pm Sunday 12 June until 9am Wednesday 29 June 2022.
There is no public access during this time.

Other planned events: Notice of 1080 pest management program
NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) will be conducting a baiting program using meat and manufactured bait products containing 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of foxes and wild dogs. The program will be conducted between 1 July 2020 until Thursday 30 June 2022.
All baiting locations will be identifiable by signs. Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW national parks. Pets and working dogs may be affected, and 1080 is lethal to cats and dogs. Pets and working dogs in the vicinity must be restrained or muzzled and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.
These programs are run to protect threatened species identified in the NSW Fox Threat Abatement Plan and Saving our Species programs.
We encourage landholders to participate in control programs on private property. Contact North Coast Local Land Services to discuss and arrange programs. Delays may occur due to unsuitable weather conditions.

Other incidents: Road Closed Bosches Waterhole Road.
The Bosches Waterhole Road has been closed. Intense rainfall has caused a large area of soil to slump across the road.
